Privacy policy

Effective January 1, 2026

Mold Launch sells a done-with-you service to pest control operators. This site exists to explain that service and to let an owner start a conversation, so the personal information involved is business contact information and the numbers an owner chooses to enter. This page says plainly what we collect, why, who touches it, and how to get it deleted.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy covers moldlaunch.com and the forms on it. It also covers the client portal we operate for companies that have engaged us, to the extent that portal holds personal information about a named user.

It does not cover the separate privacy practices of a restoration partner, a laboratory, or a client of ours who is a pest control company. Where we hand information to one of those parties, we say so below.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details you type into a form on this site: name, work email, company, phone, and team size.
  • The figures you enter into the calculator when you ask us to email the breakdown: account count, average annual ticket, conversion assumption, and team size. These are business inputs, not personal financial data.
  • Anything you write to us by email, text, or during a call, including notes we take on a recorded discovery call. We tell you at the start of a call that it is recorded.
  • For clients: the account, billing, and user details needed to run the engagement and the portal.

Information collected automatically

  • Standard server and analytics data: pages viewed, referring URL, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and timestamps.
  • Cookies and similar identifiers set by the analytics and advertising tools listed below.

What we do not collect

  • We do not ask for or store payment card numbers. Payments run through Stripe, which handles the card data directly.
  • We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. This is a business-to-business service.
  • We do not buy consumer profiles to enrich the records collected here.

3. Why we use it

  • To answer you: to reply to a request, send the breakdown you asked for, and schedule a call.
  • To run the engagement: to deliver training, integration, campaign, and coaching work for clients, and to bill for it.
  • To improve the site and the offer: to understand which pages and which explanations actually help owners decide.
  • To market responsibly: to send follow-up email and, where you have opted in, text messages about the service. Every message carries a way out.
  • To meet legal and record-keeping obligations, and to protect the site against abuse and fraud.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with unrelated companies for their own marketing.

4. Who processes it for us

We use a small set of vendors to run the business. Each one receives only what it needs to do its job, and each is bound by its own terms and security commitments.

  • Google Analytics 4 — site analytics and conversion measurement.
  • Meta Pixel — measurement and audience building for advertising on Meta platforms.
  • Google Ads — conversion measurement for search and display advertising.
  • Vercel — hosting and aggregate traffic analytics.
  • Supabase — the database and authentication behind the site forms and the client portal.
  • Stripe — payment processing for client invoices and subscriptions.
  • Resend — transactional and follow-up email delivery.
  • LeadConnector — SMS delivery and conversation history where you have opted in to text.
  • Sentry — error reporting, so a crash gets fixed rather than repeated.

Restoration partners

When a mold test performed by one of our clients comes back positive and the homeowner asks to be connected, we pass that homeowner's contact details to a vetted, separately licensed restoration partner. We earn a disclosed referral fee for managing that hand-off. The referral fee is disclosed to the client and to the homeowner, and the pest control operator takes no cut of it. Homeowners are told who is receiving their details before we send them.

5. Analytics, pixels, and your choices

The analytics and advertising tags on this site load only on the public marketing pages, and each one loads only when it is configured. They are never loaded inside the authenticated portal.

You can limit them: browser settings block or clear cookies, Google offers an opt-out browser add-on for Analytics, and Meta offers ad preference controls on its platforms. A Global Privacy Control signal sent by your browser is honored as an opt-out of targeted advertising where applicable law recognizes it.

6. How long we keep it

Inquiry records are kept for as long as the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterward so we recognize you if you come back. Client records are kept for the length of the engagement and then for the period our tax, contractual, and legal obligations require. Analytics data follows the retention window configured in each tool.

When a record is no longer needed for any of those purposes, we delete it or strip it of anything that identifies a person.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to receive a copy in a portable format, to opt out of targeted advertising or the sharing of personal information, and not to be treated differently for exercising any of those rights.

To use any of them, email us at the address below from the address on file, or tell us enough that we can find the record. We will verify the request, answer within the time the applicable law allows, and tell you plainly if there is a reason we cannot honor part of it. You may authorize an agent to act for you.

Email and text

Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link, which we honor promptly. Reply STOP to any text message to stop texts. Transactional messages about an active engagement — invoices, scheduling, account notices — continue regardless.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access to production records is limited to the people who need it, and portal access is scoped so a client organization sees only its own records. No system is perfect, and we do not claim otherwise. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you and any regulator as the law requires.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we update this page and move the effective date. Material changes to how we use information already collected get a direct notice to the address we have for you.
